mini sofias

Mini4packFULL

i’m a fan of both sparkling wine and nice packaging, so when the sofia minis came out, i had only one hurdle to face in enjoying them. sofia coppola. i’m just not a huge fan of hers (she always looks so mopey). but, despite that, i really like these little mini cans of champagne and their delightful cranberry color. available in packs of 4 minis for $15, the wine comes from monterey county in northern cali. you can find out more about the sofia minis right here and purchase right here. enjoy! Yay! I’m not a fan of hers, either, but I love the idea of drinking bubbly from a straw. Casual, chic, and less chance of me spilling.

i’ve tried these. they’re horrible. don’t waste your money on these. spend it on the good stuff sold in the wine stores.

love sofia coppola though!

I dig the packaging. My barrier isn’t Sofia Coppola as much as it is the larger issue of celebs branding products like we’re all a bunch of sheep. Now excuse me while I listen to my U2 ipod.

that stuff is nasty tasting. the concept is cool- but the graphics seem kinda mismatched. the color is pretty though.

I love the design of these! (Concept, color, ornaments… the whole package). I’ve had them a few times and had so much fun drinking them, I didn’t notice that they tasted bad (if they did)!

Rumor from a good source has it that this was vinted (is that a proper term for champagne?) by Coppola for Sofia’s wedding, which ended fairly quickly in divorce, thus the champaigne, like the marriage, went “in the can.”

These have been out for years now. The packaging is great, and the taste, while not a lovely Nicholas Feuilliate Rose, it’s easy to overcome on a long flight—the hadn size and shap make for great travel use!

huh …

well yes, the packaging is beautyfull. but as a french person fond of champagne, i’d just say yeeeeaaaaark about the product :( ( please don’t kick me :) ) .

i’m secretly ghetto and white trash. OK, its no secret. but i occasionally buy pink champagne. these weren’t the best tasting, however, you hardly notice after the 2nd CAN! and they’re perfect for my favorite trashy springtime activity- drinking in the park. now please pass Le Cheesedoodles. Merci!
