i was reading treehugger this morning and had eco-friendly on the brain so these were especially fun. i don’t normally write about bags, but these are pretty cool. “ecoist” hand bags are made from recycled candy wrappers, food packages, and soft drink labels that were discarded due to printing defects or discontinued candy lines. ecoist uses the materials to create cute little bags and, as an extra perk, for each bag purchased, ecoist plants a tree! not a bad idea. you can pick up ecoist bags right here at orange lola. enjoy!
