Where did you get these frames from? I am going to frame a bunch of my art for the first time, and the way you frames these are exactly what i had in mind.

I found your blog a few weeks ago and now I’m hooked. I’m a graphic designer who has recently chosen to follow her passion for interior design.
I absolutely love your wall colour, what did you end up choosing.

i bought the frame and had the framing done at san art in brooklyn (7th avenue and flatbush). also happens to be the photo place where everyone took those pictures of heath ledger and michelle williams getting their stuff framed in the tabloids a few weeks back.

it was super pricey so i think next time i’ll just buy the frame.

the wall color i think is called paris rain by benjamin moore. not sure i’m keeping it but it looks nice with the photos :)

I’m working on it. My bedroom is still a wreck but I’ll add that soon. The kitchen and bathroom will be next. We’re switching our dining room and living room so those rooms are in utter upheaval.

Those prints look fantastic! That’s a shame the framing was more pricey than you would have liked, but at least they turned out great, right?
Does anybody have some good resources for online framing, like when you send in your photography or prints and they frame them. I’ve Googled some before out of curiosity but would much rather have a recommendation if somebody has had a good experience.

yeah- i’ve had a couple things framed at san art (funny about heath & michelle!), so i was looking for another option. but i have gotten other park slope recomendations. really, i would like to start framing things myself.

I have both those prints in my daughter’s nursery. Love Camilla’s work immensely. The framing looks great!

I’ve gotten a few things framed at General Art Co. on Varick. They’re cratsmanship is excellent (they do lots of work for Dia and other Chelsea galleries) but–as with all pro framers–they’re $pendy.

My cousin–silkscreen goddess and university professor–swears by Metropolitan Picture Framing (metroframe.com). They have a limited number of finishes, but their frames are professional quality and reasonably-priced, and mostly because of the DIY aspect. That said, the website is super-informative, so even if you’re only mildly crafty it’s totally manageable.

Ooooh I think I’m going to have to buy the “Listen” print — do you mind if I’m a copycat? ;)

D*S, as you are in Bklyn, there is a great framer and his crew who just moved from Chinatown on the Bowery to Gowanus / Lower Slope / whatever it’s called now. It’s called Squid Framing, run by Arlan Huang (who also happens to be an amazing glass blower. Call first: 212.966.9673. As they are a custom frame shop, their prices will reflect that. However, they really give great consideration to each piece and how it should be framed. Top-notch work.
