patterns and pattern-making have always been a major interest of mine. it’s an area in which i have absolutely no skill so i’ve always admired those who do it well. i’ve always looked people like lena who can mix (and make) patterns so expertly so i was thrilled to get an email from designer julia rothman who makes and sells patterns. julia sells her beautiful patterns from her website (right here, password: “rudy”) and was hoping someone might be interested in buying her patterns for use in fabrics. i know there are a fair amount of manufacturers and designers reading so i thought this might be up someone’s alley. and if not, it makes for some lovely tuesday afternoon eye candy.
