the best i could ever manage with an etch-a-sketch was a simple house shape or maybe a lop sided cloud. but artist jonathan liu has taken etch-a-sketch art to a whole new level with his custom pieces. this raven design was done for amy ruppel but you can view more of jonathan’s etch-a-sketch work right here. should inspire some weekend sketching…[thanks, amy!]

What happens if your etch a sketch accidentally gets shaken?

Thanks for the link!

I take the powder out so that they can’t be erased, and glue the knobs to prevent additional scribbling.

Yeah, this George Vlosich guy is pretty amazing and has had quite a head start on me. It says on his website he spends 60-70 hours on each piece and sells them for $7500 and up … I’m trying to bring Etch-a-Sketch art to the masses: mine start at $200 for custom pieces.

Thanks for looking!
Jonathan
