bamboo

i’m really loving bamboo right now- not necessarily in it’s natural form but in crisp clean colors (like white, yellow and green) and bold graphics like this wrapping paper at broadway paper. $3.50 per sheet right here. my dream chandelier is below at ebay- damn those high prices…

Loving bamboo too.. Just yesterday I dug out an old bamboo-framed mirror that originally belonged to my parents and am going to paint it a light lime green. I have a matching coffee table too (glass top, so 1970s) but I’ve been deliberating for aaages about what colour I could possibly paint it or if I should just leave it as is. Any ideas appreciated!

Why is bamboo so cool? Love it. And that paper!

I think my great aunt has that same wallpaper from the 70’s in her NY apt.

Um, yeah my parents had both. They still have a couple of chandeliers. Too much baggage….

I love bamboo too. Kenian Imports has some great bright color applications of it. However, you could probably just get some and paint it yourself.

I am going bamboo crazy right now. It is growing in over half of the yard in our new house. We are harvesting as much as we can to add some new designs to our accessories line. I love the way it looks (in nature as well as in design elements), but where is grows it takes over everything-in the spring it can grow over 1 foot a week!

I am loving the bamboo right now too!! It seems to keep creeping into my blog, and today at a thrift store, I snagged a bamboo chair painted black and I can’t wait to find a fabulous fabric to recover the seat with!! Thanks for the post – I love that wallpaper.
