$30 for original art is too expensive? Not everything can be from Target, people.

i agree w/ anonymous. i’m actually surprised that a lot of artists and crafters are, i guess, forced to price their goods so low to compete with generic, often knocked-off items that most people buy at target or ikea. and I HOPE that this doesn’t cause most people to expect that a lot of art is cheap.

Hi Grace, thanks for featuring my photo!

Flameshot, i’m also offering smaller prints for $20, or better yet, i’m giving one away on my blog for free ;-)

cheers :-)

are those really daisies? they look more like chamomile flowers to me, but i’m no botanist.

ah, perfect. everytime I see a daisy, I think of two things: the scene in Joe Vs. The Volcano when Tom Hanks is trudging along the zig-zag sidewalk outside the dank, dark building where and he and countless others toil each day and he stops to prop up a daisy that had reared its head from beneath the pavement, only to be stepped on and crushed.

The other is the song by the Eels called “Daisy Through Concrete”.

Go figure.
