I know you probably won’t publish this as is your right, but are you kidding me? “Blue Chalice” for $18.00? I owned these glasses in my childhood, they are everywhere at the thrifts, and this one is only notable for not being dishwasher scarred. Creative upholstery is one thing, but the rest of this site is run by shysters. Your readers are too savvy for this.

Great find! I was surprised at how low the upholstery prices are. Love love the burnt orange tufted cane chair.

And, c’mon, 18 bucks isn’t crazy for a chalice… especially for those of us who don’t have easy access to the really good, cheap, and non-picked over thrift stores. It’s a convenience and a curatorial thing. I buy vintage dresses for $50 all the time, even though I know I could buy similar ones for $4.99 when I visit my parents in Texas… but it wouldn’t be the same dress… and it definitely wouldn’t be worth the plane fare.
