What happened to the D*S shop anyhow?

i’m not sure if it’s coming back…i’m still deciding. i’d like to do another project this fall that may be more helpful than the community than the shop. i’ll make an announcement either way when i relaunch the new site in september.

that chair is amazing. it would be great as a guest chair in my office at work. anyone know where to get something similar?

Maybe instead of a regular store/shop you can do limited edition prints advertised only on the site but available through the artists or something similar?

i’m weighing a bunch of options- i’ll be sure to let everyone know what happens. i really want to focus on giving back to the design community and i think that might be better done through events and resources i can host, rather than a shop. but we’ll see. i loved working with designers to create special designs for the shop- hopefully i can find a way to make it all work ;)

What about the chair itself? Is it one-of-a-kind?

lena mentioned it was a vintage piece last time. ebay is probably the best bet for finding something like this.
