roxana zegan

montreal-based artist roxana zegan sent over a link to her beautiful work at the storyteller. roxana recently launced her first furniture collection at icff (it’s still on display at cite) but i’m most smitten with her nids-de-poule poster series (shown above and below). the blue poster was featured on dear ada last month but i wanted to share the rest of the collection- they’re too beautiful to pass up. That is striking! It caught my eye as I love anything made with fiber or, especially, yarn. I thought it was a fiber sculpture.

thank you very much for your kind words.

The media was actually the street itself, i used actylic based paint to colour the potholes and they lasted for about 4-5 weeks :)
