I have a disco ball that hangs unobtrusively in a corner in front of my bathroom. It drives my kitties crazy!

Love this, so cute! And I have to say I never considered one of *those* kind of poles until a friend recently hosted a girls only party complete with lessons (clothing stayed on). It was terribly addicting and empowering. In my own house would be the only place I would do it!

I never realized the functional aspects of owning a disco ball. But now all I can think about is how great it would be on a rainy day, or after a hard day at the office, to go home, lower the lights, blast some good tunes and go crazy in a sparkly, spiraling wonderland! What a great release!

i know! a rainy day, some good dance music and you’re good to go. that’s my kind of exercise. forget the treadmill- dance parties are way better.

We have a large disco ball hanging on our deck, so in the afternoons when the sun hits the ball, we get lighted squares in our living room that has big windows to the deck! Also, since the wind sways the ball, the lights move!

And don’t you worry about how to hide a pole when the parents come into town. I hear that they have removable ones ;)

i was at the same party with studiowellspring. i have to add that the classes are done in near darkness and there are no mirrors. i truly recommend a disco ball/pole combo!

A disco ball is a great item for windows (if you’re not in the mood for a dance party). A friend of mine has them in a few windows in her house and they cast lovely, subtle showers of light across different rooms throughout the day as the sun passes over from morning to night. The kitties love them, as well.

we had a small disco ball left over from a party, we just put it up in our living room for fun. Let me tell you, all the kids that come over to our house think we have the coolest house ever!!!

This would be so easy to make. They sell those dico balls at the doller store and with Christmas coming up, you could get a whole bunch of different sizes!
