chiquita chandelier

1
ok, so this isn’t exactly the most functional piece of lighting, but how fun is this? designer anneke jacobs created this chandelier re-using chiquita banana boxes she found on the street. i love the thought-process behind this and the grand, over-the-top feeling she was able to create with some everyday cardboard boxes. fantastic. click here for more on anneke jacobs. All I have to say is that when Anneke is done using her brain I pray she’ll let me have it! AMAZING! Functional-schmunctional…I’ll take beauty first every time! Nothing short of inspiring!

This is great! I love it when people find amazing new ways to salvage things that would otherwise be rubbish.
