just a little teaser for any of you who love chairs like i do. the talented jen garrido sent over a photo of some chairs her boyfriend made; he reclaims/rescues chairs and then reworks them for fun. starting in the 2008 they’ll be selling them from their new shop- stay tuned for details, i’ll post them as soon as their shop is open. [thanks, jen!]

ooooh very fun. I like the combination of textures and materials, and that bright yellow is fantastic.

I have some old chairs they could redo…what state are they in? Their work is great.

The chairs are great, but I’m even more excited to hear that she’ll be opening a store! I hope that she’ll be selling some of her artwork–maybe some prints (unfortunately, her paintings are way out of my price range).
