it’s not often that i open a website and immediately find myself saying “ooooh!” out loud. but when it does happen it’s a very, very good day. and thanks to artist eliza jane curtis at morris & essex, today is one of those days. while i was in chicago eliza sent over her beautiful new website full of hand-printed greeting cards.

eliza uses both linocut block-printing and screenprinting and mixes her own ink colors to create a unique palette for her cards. inspired by images from nature and folk art, eliza creates her stationery by hand in her buenos aires studio (though she’s originally from portland and brooklyn). eliza sells her cards in sets of 5 for $18 each right here, i promise it’s definitely worth checking out. the colors and images are just beautiful and have a wonderful retro feel. thanks so much to eliza for taking the time to send her work over! click here for more information on morris & essex.
