sometimes i just don’t know how amy ruppel does it- she’s always working on some incredible new project and still manages to find the time to find and share the greatest links. today she sent over the work of artist rob ryan. based in london, ryan creates incredible pre-made and custom paper cut-outs for clients like vogue, project alabama, puffin and many more. i’m really taken with his paper cuts but you can view his full collection (including screenprints) right here. thanks, amy!

He has a new book out of all his work called This is For You. You can see some pictures from it here-

incredible. I love the tweaky quality the type has from going through this process. Lovely– especially when in a dimensional form.

I wish I had that dress! What a statement it would make. I no know how he cuts soo tiny, those sissors must be very sharp!

Rob Ryan is one of my favorite people ever. I even bought a book that I knew I wouldn’t like just because he designed the cover art. Shallow? Perhaps. Worth it? Yes!

The work of Mister Rob Ryan is breath-takingly beautiful.
How can something be both hopeful and heart-breaking at the same time?
I hope Rob Ryan gets more recognition for his amazing work because you have featured him here Grace, he thoroughly deserves it.

I just bought one of his tiles and his book. Actually I think about cutting some pages from the book and framing them, cause they’re so nice… Bit of a shame to cut in a book, but as I can’t afford one of his screenprints that’ll be a good alternative. Have to buy a second book then though…
