it’s been a pretty tough week here at d*s and i just wanted to thank everyone for your overwhelming support with everything. the closing of house & garden was a big hit personally and on a larger, industry-wide level. it was so sad to see an institution with so much history closed so quickly. but all of your sweet calls, emails and comments really helped. thank you, you’ve inspired me to pick up (with enthusiasm) an old project i was too scared to take on last year. i think it’s going to be an incredible addition to d*s so i’ll be sure to share the exciting details when things are more official. in the meantime i’ll be throwing myself in d*s always, working on new city guides, sneak peeks and fresh content for next week. i hope you all have a great weekend, i’ll see you on monday. xo, grace. [ps: the beautiful collages above and below are by sf artist lorena siminovich. she's having a show of her new collages at doe in san francisco. be sure to swing by if you're in town!]
