it’s been a pretty tough week here at d*s and i just wanted to thank everyone for your overwhelming support with everything. the closing of house & garden was a big hit personally and on a larger, industry-wide level. it was so sad to see an institution with so much history closed so quickly. but all of your sweet calls, emails and comments really helped. thank you, you’ve inspired me to pick up (with enthusiasm) an old project i was too scared to take on last year. i think it’s going to be an incredible addition to d*s so i’ll be sure to share the exciting details when things are more official. in the meantime i’ll be throwing myself in d*s always, working on new city guides, sneak peeks and fresh content for next week. i hope you all have a great weekend, i’ll see you on monday. xo, grace. I missed the post on the H&G (I was moving cross-country). I’m really sad to hear that H&G is no more, and it’s unfortunate to see such an inspiring institution poof away.
I hope you’ll pull through with great enthusiasm and strength! Usually situations like these makes us the strongest and the most creative. I am sure it won’t be any less than that for you.

Grace, you are a huge inspiration and I can hardly wait to see were you land next. Your insight and creativity is off the charts!

I know see such massive changes in your life can be overwhelming. All I can say is that when things like this happened for me… looking back, it’s amazing how things fell out and that in hind-sight I am grateful they happened.

I don’t know if that will help you now. All I can say to to keep putting one foot in front of the other, throw yourself in to your new project(s) and prepare to be amazed at the results!

I will keep you in my thoughts.
