designer pages

raindrop-mirror_large.jpg
avi flombaum and jacob slevin recently founded a great new resource for interior designers and architects. ‘designer pages‘ is their new web application that allows designers to source and organize products online for their projects. designers can create their own profiles where they keep track of furniture, accessories and design ideas- they can upload as many products as they like to keep track of materials they’re using for each project. for me, the real bonus is being able to show clients the various aspects of their personal project online in real time. added new dining chairs? they can log-on and check them out. obviously this is a trade-specific resource but according to the last reader survey 25% this audience works in a professional design discipline so i thought i’d pass this on in case it could be of service. click here to check things out and set up your own profile.

Thanks for sharing this with us! Being in the industry for several years, I’ve been waiting for a website like this be created. Nobody has yet to take advantage of the Internet as means to compile an online library of products. It’s cool that designer pages has done just that. I particularly love how easy it is to search for products on their website. Good job, guys!

Thanks for letting us know about this. I just spent some time checking it out and then signing up…it’s a great place for suppliers and designers alike. Seems to be a good business opportunity for both sides of the industry. Thanks agian!
