The color is called "manhattan mist". I didn't use a primer. I used a brush and just did one coat. Unfortunately it isn't for sale -- thanks for the compliment though! I like the color you chose but if you do decide to spice it up with another color later I love mustard yellow and gray together. That fake wood grain only serves as a sad reminder that your furniture is made of plastic and particleboard. I do think that a contrasting color on the top or drawer fronts would add a lot though. I love the debate on painting furniture! I totally see your point Georgia, but the wood in this dresser was in terrible shape. Mark had it as a teenager - it was covered in stickers and scratches.
