cape weekend

296.jpg
jill at cape weekend sent over a link to their new e-shop which carries home accessories, jewelry, eco-friendly goods, bags, books and much more. i was instantly smitten with the work of artist cristina salusti. based in woodstock, vermont, cristina creates these lovely pieces by using gold and silver plating to re-decorate fleamarket finds. i love to see artists reimagining inexpensive or found materials so these were my favorite pieces on the site. but you can check out the full cape weekend online store and shop right here. if you’re in the cape cod area you can check out cape weekend in person right here.

oh dear… this is totally appealing to my gold and white ceramic obsessions! not to mention combining it with flea market finds. loving the little pitcher with the birdie on it!

Those are stunning. The creamer set is my favourite.

Just an fyi - Oprah’s “people” loved these pieces at the NY show this summer, she’s due to do something on them…also, Chris Salusti is a highly trained sculptural artist known nationally for years for her Fossilglass, these pieces are her latest inspiration….
