Hmmm. Quite honestly I wouldn’t put those two together. It is a bit much. Since your sofa is green dots, why not have pillows with a large dot (or circle) on them? It would be cute in other shades of green, or even other cool colors. Pattern on pattern can be fun, but since your sofa is busy already (in a simple way), I wouldn’t overdo it – unless the fabric you like is in another colorway.

DO IT!!!! I just made a bag out of this fabric and I have gotten nothing but complements. It’s awesome and would look great with the couch.

Making a throw pillow out of the cat would be wrong. Out of that gorgeous fabric? Fantastic! Do it. It compliments your hip style and will boost the mood of the room.

That fabric is superb! Pink and red are great together, and that’s a great, unusual green. I like Fassett’s colour sense. It would be better perhaps if the green were slightly more dominant, so that you could mostly have a tone-on-tone effect on the sofa with just a little warm accent for contrast, but this will be a punch of colour, but you can always add one throw pillow in a third colour, maybe another green, to tie it all together, because three seems to be the magic number. We make oblong sofa pillows in a 14″x23″ dimension, and they look great – pretty modern. 18 or 20″ squares would be great too (I’d double all these so that you make sure you have the same fabric front and back – it looks better). For bolsters the dimension would be the width (or depth) of your sofa cushions x a circumference of 24″ – 26″ depending. A bit slimmer might look more modern.
