i just came across an amazing website – very cool concept – it’s an online trunk show featuring textiles from all over the world. i understand that the person who put this together worked at a travel magazine for many years, and has sourced things from her extended travels. she has these bedspreads, too! site is only up until may 13. but you can also sign up for her mailing list for future collections. this collection that is up on the site now is called ‘textile’ – i hear that ‘object,’ ‘glass,’ ‘collectives’ and ‘india’ are in the works. very cool. check it out!

Thank you Thank you Grace and Miriam! I’ve been looking for a source ever since kate spade’s mexican-inspired collection a few years back!

Francesca, I love gray and yellow and white. I have blue walls and then all the textiles in my bedroom are black, white and yellow. I’m wondering which other prints might compliment this pattern well – I suppose it would take some experimentation. I hope you share whatever solution you come up with!

Wow! I’ve been looking for this exact item in the orange. I can’t believe no one else has mentioned this, but it’s shown as a tablecloth in O at Home, Winter 2007, on page 109. I just love it. Thank you.

PS: I've got a color dilemma. With the blue wall, amazing morning light, and yellow bedspread - what color pillows should I use? Or what kind of headboard? I'm making drapes out of this grey Amy Butler fabric. Maybe grey pillows? Or a grey headboard?
