diy wednesday is on holiday today (lauren and derek will be back next wednesday) but i’m working on a diy project of my own to post for tomorrow. in the meantime i wanted to end today with another dose of ms. rothman, this time courtesy of kiley at urban outfitters. julia designed these wonderful pillows for urban and you can pick up all three styles right here for $24. enjoy! see you tomorrow…

Welcome back, Grace. Happy New Year!

Love the colorways. Especially the one with the antelope (?). Julia is one of the awesomest!

I love your site and just got introduced to julia through d*s. Do you know how she gets the pattern on the plates? I looked at her site and on her concept images there are these chandelier plates and I was wondering how that was done. Just wondering, since you seem to know everything! : )

Dana-
all of my concept images on my site are fake actually. I just photoshopped my designs onto different white objects to give samples of how the patterns might be used. I think designs always look better actually applied on things so I wanted to give some samples. Hopefully one day plates like those will be made!

thanks everyone for your comments and Grace for the double post yesterday!

Fantastic - I must buy these for our cool-hued, open floor plan attic bedroom. We need evocative pillows to resolve an unfortunate faux-headboard situation, and the muted with a splash colorways are perfect (plus…I dig the bunnies: Fuzzy, yet forbidding - a la Watership Down).
