from mantle-scapes to table scapes- i’m crazy about these beautiful porcelain stones used to decorate karin eriksson’s holiday table. it’s such a subtle but sweet way to add color and texture to the table. i wish i’d thought of something like this for our holiday table but luckily it’s an idea that could be applied to any most any occasion. if i knew anything about porcelain i’d make these myself but in the meantime i’ll hope karin will sell them on her etsy shop or hope i can find some light colored rocks to make a diy version in the meantime. there are more beautiful christmas photos from karin right here.

you could also use paper clay, it’s super easy to mold into any shape you like and it doesn’t need to go in a kiln to harden, it is air-hardening. you can paint on it once it’s dry.

Thanks for the link to Karin’s photos. They are so beautiful. Her pottery is so lovely. I have to have some of her votive holders.
