since d*s launched in 2004 i’ve always tried to look for new ways to use the site to help the design and fine art community that inspires me and allows me to keep doing the job i do. one of the things people ask me about on a regular basis is how to help them find jobs. so for years i’ve been making calls, sending emails and printing out people’s resumes on my own to hand to colleagues and people i think might be good job contacts. so one day when i was talking to ac he said- why don’t you create a job board on the site where people can host resumes and find positions that fit the look and feel of the site? so, that’s what we did.

with the generous help from the team at also design (who also did the relaunch of d*s last october), today we’re launching the new d*s job board! today we’re starting things as a bit of a soft launch because there’s still a kink or two to work out but there are already some great candidates and listings on the site, which is 100% free to view, no registration required. i’m hoping to build things up so that we have at least 20-50 listings at all times but today is the first day the doors are open so we’re starting with a handful. so, if you’d like to list your resume or your job listing (internship or FT/PT paid) here are the details:

• job listings: d*s has an audience of 30,000 eager and talented design fans and design professionals. reach them right here with a monthly listing from your company for $100. we will list internships as well as FT/PT paid positions.
