über talented artist evan b. harris is having an incredible show at rare device tonight. “garden at eichstatt” showcases the portland-based artist’s latest installment of paintings that emphasize folkloric details and a love of nature. if i was in the bay area i would definitely be making way over for this so if you’re lucky enough to be in san francisco tonight head on over to rare device to check out evan’s show: “garden at eichstatt”, rare device, 1845 market street, 6-9pm, SF.

Is rare device selling prints? Are there any other sources for Evan B. Harris prints? I saw that Tiny Showcase has one in its winter collectiong, but these pieces are so great…

I love the chalky white on the natural papers, I would love to have his/her work in our gallery….maybe someday!

These are cool. They remind me of tattoos, scrimshaw, David Blackwood prints and a tiny bit of woodland native art thrown in…. a really interesting mix.
