i have this weird thing about bears- one part of me is seriously obsessed with them and thinks they’re the coolest thing since sliced bread and then the other part is deathly afraid of them. hiking the AT in college always scared me because we were always spooked with stories of an aging black bear population that was slightly demented and would attack campers unprovoked. it probably wasn’t true but when you’re sleeping in a thin tent at night with nothing but a swiss army knife to protect you it starts to sound very plausible. either way, for some reason these days i like to have bears on everything- mugs, pillows, prints, everything. perhaps i’m just replacing one animal obsession (birds) with another but i’m still digging anything “bear”. so naturally these prints are right up my alley. i love the color combinations and, of course, the bear so i’m thinking this might be something i treat myself to this month, since each print is only $15. you can click here to pick up one of these ‘overlap 4a’ posters for $15 or if you have a favorite bear print you can leave a link below. i’m always looking for a cute tiny bear print to hang in an unexpected spot.

Oh my… this guy is amazing! have you listened to his music which goes under the name Tycho, so apt and suitable for the art work. I highly recommend you check it out if you like IDM and calm ambient music…

Thanks for the tip, I really enjoy all the posters on ISO50’s website. I think I finally found the right decoration for my living room.

So cool. I love posters with a vintage feel. And the type is awesome too.

Being an outdoorsy California girl who enjoys salmon, honey and berries, I also have a deep affinity for bears. My favorite print is my B is for Bear from Strawberryluna: http://strawberryluna.com/gallery5.php

umm, it’s normal to like bears and be terrified of them, what’s so strange about that?

Anna, how can I get more information on your bear prints? They are too perfect and I think I have to have one for my boyfriend. Can you please post a link or contact info? many thanks…
(I love the bears in the original post but text in posters distracts me too much!)

Grace,
See Werner Herzog’s documentary “Grizzly Man”. That’s all I need to say.

Grace my friends and I have been loving the bears lately too. We keep saying Blood Thirsty Bears are the New Black. Love these posters, thanks for the top.
