new: skinny laminx


heather at skinny laminx just added a great new teatowel to her shop at etsy. based in drawings of her incredible collection of vintage mugs and cup, “mugs” is printed in three colorways (gooseberry, raspberry and blueberry) for only $11. i seriously need to rotate my tea towels so this is just the kick in the pants i needed. spring is on the way and i can’t wait to work in some pretty colors like these. to see some great shots of the original mugs by each towel click here and to shop online and pick up your own mug towel, click here.

i love how she uses the juxtaposition of squares & rectangles with the intricate mug pattern. very clever & great colors. i was so sad to part w/ some tea towels of hers for holiday gifts last yr. i’m absolutely going to get some for myself soon.
