beautiful, those colors would look great on a rustic wood table!

What’s going on in that plate? Is it abstract or are those recognizable objects?

Kate: My designs are conjured up from impressed vintage objects–old cracker jack charms are a favorite–and other found objects sourced from the natural and urban world! The pattern you see on this particular plate is a vintage mexican bird, a found branch and a rock, picked up in the canyons of New Mexico!

Thanks, Lisa. I like that idea. It kind of looked like a tiny redheaded girl in my miniscule computer screen.

I’m just in love with all Lisa’s
ceramics, from the tiny olive
trays to large plates - my favorite
has the ‘drowning charlotte’ graphics!

You all should check out Joe Pintz, http://iconceramics.net/gallery_functional.html
His work doesn’t have the cutesy thing going on, but in my opinion the glazes are more interesting.

hey judy-have you ever seen Lisa’s ceramics in person? I have and the glazes are quite interesting..and her work cannot be categorized as cutesy–it’s more refined…
see for yourself!
