milk bottles

i know i promised more before & after content but my jet lag is attacking with serious force right now so i think i’m going to need a quick crash-nap and then a return to the emails i missed while away. i’ll be back tomorrow with regular posting but until then i wanted to share these gorgeous milk bottle carafes from three potato four. i’m digging milk bottles these days so i hope you’ll enjoy these as much as i did. click here for a sneak peek into the home of three potato four shop owners, janet and stu.

These are so delightful and so well photographed. It seems like one should buy many and fill them with different juices.

I thought I read that some of the proceeds from these go to charity too.

I’ve been obsessed with milk bottles since seeing the huge collection at the Pitcher Inn in Warren, Vt. I love them. So much so that we bought 70 vintage bottles on eBay to use at our wedding!

I love using interesting jugs/carafes to serve guests. I really enjoy the simplicity of these.

I think I’ll be better off making my own, why pay that much money for something I could make look like that or better?

Ouch. That milk bottle costs a dollar an ounce.

I love how the clear milk bottles let you see the bright color of the orange juice inside… perfect for fruity summer drinks! Also love the bold numbers on these!

Gorgeous :) 1 orange juice please!

Super cute! And probably a good way to teach children a bit of cooking math :)
I love keeping pretty bottles from water and wine and using them as bud vases.

What a practical and stylish idea, just in time for spring. They’d make great props for photos.

love these. with the numbers, they remind me a bit of beakers from chemistry class… also great containers for flowers.

beautiful pictures to go with such a wonderful vintage come-back…simply lovely breakfast table these make and i love the numbers (they look like they are from my rubber stamp set ca. 1890!).
