Oh…So…Cute! Very nostalgic. I can remember finding an old glass milk bottle on a nature walk…These look so similar.

I’ve always been a big fan of antique glass with formed typography, but they can be hard to come by. These add a nice modernity to that idea. btw - all of Alyssa Ettinger’s work is amazing; nice explorations of texture on porcelain.

I’m a sucker for antique glass bottles with formed typography, so naturally I love these. The white on white gets me every time as well. All of Allyssa Ettinger’s work is amazing. Nice find.

Alyssa is ingenious! We used to get milk this way when we lived in Wales- I will have to pick me up a pair!

So funny…I saw the milk bottles on the DS site so I went and bought two…Later in the day I had to do my occassional peek at 3 potato 4 and I am in lust of those milk bottles with the numbers on them..I’m just debating between 8oz and 32oz….LOVE ‘EM. There is a local farm that uses the same bottles for their yummy yogurt so if you live in the Chicago area look for traders point creamery - it’s the yummiest and you’ll have fun bottles for your next DIY project. Lastly, credit due to artist Beth Mueller- as far as I can tell she started using this lovely milk glass shape for her vases adorned with the sweetest words and images many years ago. http://www.bethmueller.com/
