plover organic

today i feel like one of those little sets of chattering teeth jittering all over the place. tomorrow morning i film my segment on good morning america and, even though it won’t air live (it will air the following week), i’m super duper nervous. i’m hoping that when the moment comes i’ll just zen out and remember all the things i’m supposed to. mostly, i’m psyched that i’ll get a chance to promote some of my favorite independent artists on a national television program. one of the companies that i wanted to include (but couldn’t because of time constraints) was plover organic- an organic bedding company run by marisa kula mercer and sheila mulvihill. plover has made the blog rounds before, but after looking at their bedding in person for this piece i couldn’t resist sharing anyway. their collection includes 100% organic cotton quilts, duvets, pillowcases, shams, baby bedding and fabric by the yard. in addition to loving the soft, mellow colors they use, i love how inviting all of their bedding looks. we’re definitely ready for a spring spruce-up in our bedroom so perhaps i’ll have to consider swapping out our john robshaw for a spring look from plover organic. click here for more information and to find a retailer near you.

Congrats on the air time!!! SO COOL! I want that duvet cover, I think you’ve got me addicted to another bedding company!

I’m so glad that you mentioned them here! And who are you kidding, you’re going to knock that morning crowd off their feet!! Can’t wait to see it :)

Just grab up one of those kitties and go to your happy place before you head out to the studio!

You’ll do great! Break a leg. Will you be sure to let us know when it will air??

I really like Plover’s bedding (ooh, organic, good!), but I really LOVE their name. Admittedly, I had no idea a Plover is a bird, I just thought the word was cute. They’ve done a beautiful job of using a very meaningful name and talk about it in a way that adds extra relevance to their lovely work! Bonus!

I love the color scheme, it’s so serene and yet spring like. If I do a spring cleaning redesigning my bed, I would chose those colors. Thanks!!!

kickpleat,
I agree about the bed, I was swooning over it in the VivaTerra spring catalog this weekend. Now… about convincing my husband:)

Holy Robin Robertson and Diane Sawyer! How super duper exciting – have a great time! The beds are fantastic, hmmm…not sure if our John Robshaw is coming off yet, but organic is an extra kicker. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the show! How exciting. Try to relax and have fun with it. Picture the nation watching in their underwear. =*)
