d*s guest blog: thank you to abby


i just wanted to say a great big thank you to abby of style me pretty for her gorgeous guest blog posts this week. i’ve been a big fan of abby’s site for some time now and it’s always such a pleasure to learn a little bit more about the people behind my favorite websites. in addition, it turns out some of my old summer camp and middle school friends read abby’s site and we’ve now reconnected because of her posts this week- so crazy! abby has four fantastic sposts up today so click here to check it out- thanks, abby!

i’m loving the hat and the flowers.. i wish i lived in the US.. here in Italy it’s difficult to find wedding designers like that

i love the feather motif! we did a similarly thing for flowers for our wedding january. we were doing a wintry theme and the bouquets and boutonnieres were done with feathers, and small gold and silver little mirrors. i thought it looked very pretty!

I used a lot of rust and orange in my wedding…I think these gorgeous fall-like colors can be used any time of year. They’re cheerful, but deep. Beautiful!

I WANT that car (forgive me, Father, for lusting) even if it’s a four door. It would look smashing parked next to my classic ‘65 GMC pick-up, or even better with me behind the wheel. Rawr!
