hell’s kitchen loft

i’m not normally a fan of white rooms but something about this bedroom from the hell’s kitchen loft profiled in this week’s new york magazine grabs me. i love the curved white walls contrasted with the dark black window frames- it’s all so clean and crisp. click here for the full story. I agree, I love the curved white walls myself. I adore that BIG open lofty window, it’s so fabulous!

The art, architectural detail and dark wooden furniture create enough contrast to make it work. White rooms also make sense in a place like Hells Kitchen since light colors help make a small space seem less cramped.
