before and after: stephanie’s home

we’re undergoing a bit of an overhaul to our apartment right now so i’m really into seeing what other people do with a total makeover. designer stephanie hancock sent over these fun shots of her new home and i’m loving all the bright green. it’s such a fresh update to the raw space. thanks to stephanie for sharing!

(and if you like the stuffed creature’s on the couch, they’re stephanie’s!)

I love all of the bright greens throughout the house, ties everything together nicely… even out into the “yard”

Wow, that is a strong, vivid green… Yikes, a bit too for me, but I absolutely love the way it ties in with the whites and greys and contrasts with the texture of the wall. It’s great to see people make bold, individual choices in their homes!

I love the fake grass…it looks so much better than regular astroturf. Where did she get it? I want some for our balcony!

the grass looks great and I just purchased myself one of her super-cute monsters! I’m a sucker for a cuddly toy (especially one made out of recycled scrap fabric etc ;] )

Still eager to know where the fake grass is from? Is it from synlawn?

I’ll add in my request for more information on the “lawn” . . . please!

The ‘lawn’ is a 5′x15′ piece of turf from Synlawn. The rep I dealt with in Vancouver was Owen, and he was very nice!
And the painting is a piece my Mom did in college. She is thinking about doing a new series of similar works now that everyone loves this one so much. You can e-mail me (via my website) if you are interested!
