i’ve got to run turk to the vet this morning but i wanted to share some beautiful wednesday morning eye-candy quickly: handmade amy ruppel fabric that was shown at a recent gallery show. there aren’t any textiles in production yet, but amy created these pieces using carved wooden blocks and rubber stamps. it’s her first foray into the fabric world but i think it’s an incredibly promising one. i’d love to see someone pick up the line and produce it so i could reupholster my favorite rocking chair. until then, you can check out more of amy’s work right here. i promise that the second i hear when/if this is going into production i’ll be sure to update.
