for the past few weeks i have been seriously binging on episodes of tlc’s jon and kate plus 8 (i’m watching the “garage shelving” episode right now). i’m not sure what it is about that family that gets me but i’m ready to pack up the zip car and head out there to play with their kids. it looks like a total mad house but i love them. and that jon- what a cutie. i found myself thinking about them when i saw this great new placemat from moderntwist. designed by matte stephens (peek inside matte’s house here and here), ‘kat in the city‘ in made from a food-safe silicone that is hand silk-screened with one of matte’s designs. i’d love to send a pack of these over to jon and kate for their sextuplets- they seem so easy to clean, which would be great for kate’s ocd.
