fabric love

i’m feeling springy and colorful today- i wish i had the sewing skills to sit down and whip up a bunch of throw and bolster pillows in these fabrics. it would really brighten things up in our shady apartment… (fabric above: matkalla maalle fabric at kiitos marimekko, $42 per yard)

tiina said: July 10th, 2008 - 12:49 pm	I just had to comment about the name of the marimekko fabric, matkalla maalle, it means “on the way to the countryside” and it reminds me of the scenes you might see from the car window while driving to the summer cottage or to meet you grandmother on summer holiday
