I wanted to end my guest blogging duties this week by first saying thanks to Design Sponge for giving me the opportunity to post some of my thoughts here with you. Secondly, thanks to everyone who had a look and commented!

For my last post, I wanted to share our new and improved website with you. When we relaunched American Craft almost a year ago we knew we also needed to create a new website to complement the new look of the magazine. We have been fortunate enough to work with the incredible design duo of Renda Morton and Holly Gressley. [Image above: Revamped homepage of americancraftmag.org launched today.]

I wanted to share some of the other work these two have done with you here because I’m impressed with it all.

But be sure to check out our new site for their handy-work too. Some new features include the incredible maps that will help guide you on your travels through the Wide World of Craft and perhaps the most comprehensive craft calendar in the country. All great stuff (if I do say so myself).

The structure was based upon the Ewok Village, with a 30-foot tree structure that housed a miniature gallery and rope bridges constructed with rope braided from recycled plastic bags. The tree structures were shingled with 5,000 cardboard squares silkscreened by all the members of the group." Holly Gressley]
With that said, I will now sign off. But please, come visit us at American Craft anytime. Hope to see you soon!
