This be a great feature — great houses for rent? I’m always looking for something for a week.

It’s too hard to use hotels with babies unless you have really good babies OR you don’t care if your babies cry and drive the neighbors insane. Also, it’s a drag to have to go to bed when the kids do. But you can’t exactly leave them alone in a hotel room when you go to the bar (altho heather/dooce did once and the whole world came down on her, remember that?)

Well, John Denver had me sold on West Virginia back when I was 5. ;) This looks beautiful, and if it wasn’t so darn expensive to fly to the other coast, I’d love to be there.

We were the “test guests” earlier this summer, and have since rented the cabin again since then. It is absolutely beautiful – a modern retreat in the mountains. The house is built on a slope, so from inside the house it feels like you’re in a treehouse. Very cool
