wow! what beautiful inspiration notebooks! I’ve not been updating mine lately like I should (large pile of clippings and just haven’t taken the time to paste them in…), but you’ve inspired me to get back into the habit! :)

Oh my goodness! I recognize so many of those images from Lucky because I’ve collected so many of them too! I love the section of the magazine where they cover shops from all over the country and the world because the photos are always so great! Great to see you on D*S by the way. I love your blog!

I would love some feedback – how do y’all attach your pictures in the books? Modge podge, glue stick, tape – what is the best way to maintain the pictures integrity. Also, what types of books do you use? I love this post!

Susan, I really like Coccoina glue sticks (you can find them at seejanework.com). They’re non-toxic and they smell great! As far as books, I find that plain black sketch books from Barnes & Noble work just fine.

I love it & enjoy doing this as well, and like to collect fabric swatches as well as tearings! I always enjoy getting sneak peeks into the sketch & scrap books of others & these are so lovely and filled with so much inspiration!!

Susan, I use regular old glue sticks in the jumbo size.

This is probably not the best suggestion archival-wise, but I use double-stick tape to keep my clippings in place. Like, Melissa said I go to B&N and Borders for my sketchbooks, or you can try your local art store.

I believe that I will be scrapbooking for now on, I have way too much stuff in my studio. This is inspiration!

I love your colorful business card collection (and your blog), Andrea! I have a bunch of fun cards and ephemera stuffed in a box but needing a new home. Does anybody have a suggestion for a way to display/organize them that’s not permanent and won’t ruin them?

I do this too for inspration for my blog and fashion/beauty addiction!
