I leave you with a picture of the first thing I bought for Erie Basin’s inventory: a miniature bronze figure of a preacher. I’m not sure why this was my first purchase, or a purchase at all, but I’ve never put him up for sale. He sits out of sight under one of the store’s display cabinets.

I have loved reading about erie basin (such a good name) and you Russel. Where did you get the name from – hope to hear from you soon

Thanks! Erie Basin is the name of the waterway south of the store… all the waterways around NYC have beautiful (but little used) names.
