I’m so glad to see an owl up there! My family has a tradition of giving an owl to someone on their fifteenth birthday. (Now that I think about it, it seems kind of strange…) To us, they represent wisdom and strength. Plus, it’s really easy to put an owl into your decor. ;]

no offense taken- i’m not paid to endorse zipcar at all. i’m just a religious zipcar user- especially in the summer. it’s the main way i get around (and out of) town.

I’m curious, and asking this in the nicest way possible because I religiously read and adore your blog, Grace: Is Zipcar paying you to name-drop so frequently, or are you really a huge fan of theirs? (Theirs is a great service, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re just a huge fan.)
As I said before, I’m just curious.
Please don’t take this as a criticism.
