domino: under $1

when i was putting together this month’s under $100 column for domino we thought it would be fun to try for under $1 finds. but after a week of searching i thought it just couldn’t be done. so i went with 25 products under $10. but now it looks like my friend katy elliott has done the impossible- a great list of products under $1! she’s always got her eyes on something gorgeous so i was psyched to see her list live on domino’s site. click here to check out katy’s incredibly budget-friendly product roundup.

That is so funny because I have the flower vases in the picture from Ikea. I didn’t really think I needed them but at 50 cents a pop its hard to say no. Turns out they look fantastic in my office and bedroom!

Wow! how fun! A very, very clever and challenging idea. this would be great to find xmas gifts for under $1/$5/$10 when the time comes. I happen to buy/make almost all my gifts months before xmas! and I know several friends are totally cool with the thrift-store gift, which can be totally unique, and earth-friendly too.

I wish Domino was easier to find. The CVS next to my job doesn’t carry it anymore. So, I sent them a subscription request and didn’t hear back…I cancelled the check after a couple of months. I must track them down else where…

Great find on the napkin rings! I would’ve paid a lot more for them. Now I guess I can just buy three times as many.

I forgot all about Jack 99 cent store in NYC. I use to go there to get kid gifts & game prizes for corporate picnics…
