faux bois fun

img63l.jpg
this morning while i was holding ms. jackson in my lap and waiting for her soft paws to dry, i flipped through the new williams sonoma catalog and pretended that she was really interested in hearing my opinion on everything inside. she clearly wasn’t, but i thought this faux bois chair was fun. i wish it had cuter legs (i’d like this kind) but the fabric is pretty fun. click here to check it out.

Do you like the soft paws? Do they really, really work? I don’t know anyone that’s actually tried them but I’m thinking about it.

Faux bois is popping up everywhere in home design. We are seeing it in the furniture industry in rugs, wallpapers, pillows and of course, fabulous upholstery like the chair above.

What a wonderful eco-inspired and “neutral” pattern to add to a room!

candis

they have CHANGED OUR LIFE. i cannot recommend them more highly. our cats are used to us cutting their nails so i just add the gluing process onto that time. it’s super easy. you just have to hold them in your lap for a few minutes after you attach them all- but i never do it for more than like 2-3 minutes. and no more ruined upholstery!

Soft paws saved my cat’s life! The cat put one teeny-tiny scratch on the baby, and the cat could not have stayed in our home without soft paws. We used bright red paws on our Russian blue cats, and they looked fabulous.
