great smells + great packaging

scentsfinal_alt2.jpg
this weekend i was noticing all of the great smelling things around my house. lately i’ve started to pay more attention to the smells that come into my home because of cleaning products so i’m trying to invest in cleaners that are all-natural and smell delicious. all of my scent-searching had me noticing the beautiful packaging that comes with some of the best-smelling bits around my house. so i thought i’d share some of my favorite smelling- and looking- products…

[image above, clockwise from top left: rachel's yogurt (about $5 for 3), satu soap $8, orange and rosemary dish shop $18, rachel's yogurt (the vanilla chai is my favorite), sulu perfume by susanne lang (can be tough to find), midnight orchid perfume by susanne lang (i'm obsessed with this scent), mrs meyers lavendar scent diffuser $12.99, patyka eucalyptus massage oil $17]

I think I need that orange and rosemary soap. It will promote dish washing I think. I need that kind of reinforcement sometimes.

That yogurt looks so good. I like to splurge on natural and great smelling cleaning products. It helps me enjoy taking care of my house. My favorite all around cleaner is Caldrea’s basil blue sage.

Thymes always has good stuff.. I’m not sure if it is all natural or not, but their packaging is always amazing. Packaging designed by Duffy.

Sulu perfumes are available at Anthropologie stores. I must agree, they smell wonderful.

I haven’t had much luck with Rachel’s yogurt. It tastes peculiar to me.

But Satu soap is great.

Does anyone know where to get good smelling drawer liners?

I love Mrs. Meyers lavender-scented anything. I would love to clean my entire house with her lavender products.

I’m a huge fan of Rachel’s yogurt. So unusual. And Mrs. Meyer’s is wonderful. I had not seen the diffusers. Thanks.

We get Rachel’s yogurt for 99 cents each here at Whole Foods in Fort Collins. Maybe because the US based part of the company is local? Rachel’s yogurt TEXTURE is what I love best! Hmm… I think I’ll go indulge in one of the five remaining jars in the fridge right now.

good call, lucy – i was actually coming to post about j.r. watkins! i just moved into a new place and my house smells wonderful because of it.

i also highly recommend method’s wood wipes in almond; i am typing (on a fabulous craigslist find) and sitting here is like aromatherapy.

Rachel’s Yogurt is the absolute best. My favorite is also the Vanilla Chai. :)
