new: graham & brown

18103-diva-oyster1.jpg
i’m still sort of obsessed with wallpaper right now and i’m loving these new patterns from graham and brown. the shiny glam designs are from barbara hulanicki (of biba fame) and the raised patterns are part of graham and brown’s paintable series that allows you to paint over the pattern to customize the look. click here for more information on graham and brown and to browse their full collection. [thanks, david!]

wow – what a flashback to see barbara hulanicki’s name on your site. When I was about 10 yrs old I had THE biba poster hanging on my bedroom wall(the Twiggy-esque girl with the big glasses)
We would go to the Biba store In London and pretend to be models!
The wall paper is so gorgeous with just the right amount of Art Nouveau to call it Biba!

That wallpaper is gorgeous! The shiny ones are so neat, but I love the paintable ones too! Great patterns.

I love those art decoey/knotworkey ones. Very pretty & the larger prints will probably carry them for a lot longer than smaller prints might. I’m still not convinced on the whole wallpaper thing, but it’s nice to see designers working in patterns a little more timeless than what we’ve seen through past wallpapering fads.

Oh man, not only are the wallpapers stunning, but so it most of the furniture! I especially love the wooden side table in the first picture, and the whole she-bang in the 3rd picture from the bottom (red and white egg chair with amazing metallic blue-ish wallpaper)! Can I have them all?!

I usually hate those egg chairs, but the context of that chair just works. I almost always find them too 2001, but with the varying textures and colour palette – wow, it’s nice to see a place where it looks fantastic.

Oooooooh, my god, these are so beautiful it’s making my heart hurt. I was looking at the first and thinking “nothing could be more beautiful than this,” and then saw the second, and the third. All of them are just amazing!

I can’t see the patterned wallpaper on a huge wall, or at least I can’t imagine putting it up on a huge wall (lol), but in a bathroom might be cool. I love how you can paint over em.

Swoon – those wallpapers are too lovely for words! I’d like to have all of them – one for each room in the mansion I plan to own some day!
