things i’m loving: clean slate edition

things-final.jpg
as the weather starts to change and fall drifts in, i’m purging things from our home and from my wardrobe. i love the way it feels to shed layers of clutter and pare down to the things you really love. while de-cluttering our house i thought i should apply my seasonal mantra to my computer as well so here is a BIG things i’m loving post devoted to all of the beautiful designs that have been living on my desktop for the past month or two. i hate to let them go but it’s time to make room for new loves and welcome a season full of rich colors and warm fabrics. i’m so excited for fall!

Grace, you taste is impeccable. 98$ for a rope doorstop though is outrageous. I made one myself after having spotted them at Renest and it cost me ~0. You only need rope and a stone. http://sol.pupazzo.org/?p=841

It’s rare that I’m so agreeable, but I love all the things you are lovin’. (I’m not lovin’ all the prices though, yikes! almost $1400 for sidechairs!)

Those glass tumblers you love look a lot like these Marta glasses from CB2!

I use this great company in the midwest for chairs like those amazing vintage fiberglass ones- made by hand by a small business- and they’re open to custom sizes and colors too! (and less than half the price as well :)

love the vintage wine holder — and I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one that does my purging/clean slate thing in the autumn

just so many beautiful things! I would have to choose, as my fav, though, the tracy porter pillow, very unique with great contrasting colors!

I adore almost everything at Orange (where the end tables and wine holder are). Too bad it’s so expensive. *sigh*

gorgeous as always grace. i adore the wood grain items and those earrings. I’m ready for autumn too.

yikes! i need to dig out my old Chippendale “bamboo” chairs and get them refinished. $950 could pay for a lot of my textbooks.

That monkey fist door stop is cute…

Here’s how you make one:

The rope door stop rocks, I’ll have to make that.
And the log, lamp, I’ll have to make that too.
So awesome!

I have a tall yellow campaign chest that i tried to sell on Craigslist Austin for $100 (even though I know it’s worth more, i was desperate to unload it!)–and now i see something similar for $3,500?! um, may have to re-think my pricing…but if anyone is interested, let me know!

I’m in love with that sofa…I walked into Anthropologie the other day and gasped. Its not quite my style but really beautiful and very comfortable.

Does anyone know anything more about the “vintage fiberglass sidechairs”? I’ve got a set of 4 and matching glass-top table, almost exactly like this pair. It was bound for the free section on Craigslist, but now I don’t know! Any details would be appreciated…

those pink and white chairs are probably worth NOT paying rent this month for. WOW

My grandma has 8 of those white fiberglass chairs and a matching table! Are they a specific brand? She’s looking to sell them…they’ve been in her backyard for years….ever since I can remember!
