diy project: candy control

i was out of town for halloween but that doesn’t mean there’s any shortage of candy floating around my house at all times. thankfully, brenda and isabel at alphamom came up with a fun way to parcel out your remaining candy. their advent-calendar style project is great for kids and perfect for adults like me who need a little help when it comes to resisting a massive candy binge. click here for the full instructions and more pictures.

What a clever idea, a very good way to spread out the candy consumption.

That’s such a great idea! Must be fun for the kids to get to break the paper!

Great idea, and really works for any time of year if you’re a chocoholic… *halo*

Why, oh why could this not have been posted earlier? We just finished off our leftover Halloween candy. To give you an idea of how big a pile that was, I’ll just tell you this: we had one trick-or-treater.

Better luck next year, I guess. For now, I’m doing overtime at the gym.

Oh that’s great! Since it’s getting closer…I’d love to see any great Advent calenders that are out there! Thank you!
