Or you can make your own… My mom took her old coin collection (that had been accumulating dust for years) and made pillows out of them. You can use your own desired fabric or even little shapes…

being a sucker for all things critter shaped i am digging the dogs and owl doorstop - but the little bear with his paws against the door OMGCUTEOVERLOAD. AWWWWWW! must have it.

Lotta Jansdotter’s Simple Sewing book has instructions for how to make a fabric doorstop similar to the ones shown. It’s actually quite easy to make.

Well, this is so impressive! I had no idea there were so many door stop options out there - honestly, I have never seen a door stop guide before. Very good indeed!

What a great collection! We just bought a doorstop that we can’t stop laughing at…the witch’s legs from the Wizard of Oz (crushed under a house…or in this case, door) with her ruby red slippers still on. Though I’m digging foot in the door in your post!

This round up is great! I think people could get really creative thinking of clever ideas for door stoppers.

This is exactly why I love this website so much: no one around me cares about designed doorstops. I’ll care the day I’ll need one, and I’ll come here and get inspired !

The only problem is… now I don’t need a doorstop (wall works just fine), but I’ll look for one anyway…

The sitting rabbit is just so cute… who helped him escape a Potter book ?

I found a rock with a bunch of crystals poking out of the top (like a geode) in the backyard of our newly acquired house, cleaned it up, and now it’s a great natural doorstop. I love it when things are beautiful and free!

It’s like a Monty Python doorstop.
