last week the winterns and i stopped by abc home in the city on our quest for great nyc shop windows (stay tuned for the results of our outing on wednesday). when we poked our heads into the cursive section of the shop i was immediately smitten with this metallic cloth calendar by helen ige. although it doesn’t have space for writing down events (i know this is everyone’s- including mine- pet peeve) it’s still a really lovely calendar for the home or office. the gold is incredibly shiny and rich looking in person so if you’re in the market for a new 2009 calendar you can stop by cursive at abc home (say hi to MK if you see her!) to pick up one, or pick one up online at ige’s site for $24.
